Stunt Community members who are injured at work to be treated in this world class medical facility.

Hello Stunt Community - Very exciting news to finally share with  you all on the injury & health front.

I have been working with the staff at Fortius Sport & Health and WCB for years to find a way for our members who are injured at work to be treated in this world class medical facility.
I've been advocating hard for early diagnosis &treatment, a multi-practitioner approach to healing, concussion clinic access and appropriate understanding and support from WCB.
Up until now, this has not been possible.
Effective immediately, Stunt Performers now have full and expedited access to all services at Fortius Sport & Healthregardless of where or how you are injured.

There may be some cost 'overages' that you will be responsible for on WCB claims but I will be continuing to work on this with WCB and see if more improvements can be made here too.

It is possible that some of these 'overages' can be reimbursed by your benefit plan or through any 'excess reserves' you may have if you are a high income earner.  Please check with MBT or AFBS and always report your work injury to your benefit plan to ensure back you up if needed.

We will continue to work on other great opportunities for injury prevention and health optimization for our community moving forward.

This is a fantastic resource that has just been opened up for us and I hope that you all benefit from this relationship when and if the need arises.

And it starts right now !
